The planet Pluto is going retrograde (backwards) in the sky from April 3 to September 11. Pluto is in the sign of Capricorn and has been since this whole “Recession” era began in November. Pluto is all about accelerating the death of the old, outworn, and unnecessary so that something new and better can take it’s place. Especially in the beginning stages of a Pluto cycle (as we are in now) this process can be quite dramatic and seemingly ruthless in it’s “re-organization” that feels more like chaotic destruction.
You Are an Animal
What are we to do? Just accept that society is falling apart and keep blaming giant forces outside of our control for it’s demise? No! Now is the time to stop blaming and start taking responsibility and control for our own survival here on earth. Once upon a time, there was nothing that could be called a “job.” We’ve become overly reliant on Big Brother to provide jobs, health care, and benefits.
The Devil is represented as a goat, an animal that can eat anything, survive harsh conditions. Recall in your animal brain your healthy instincts for thriving here on earth. Tap into your desire for a more pleasure-full existence.
Cut it Out!
This radical new perspective can only be realized if there is room to grow in a new direction. Take out the trash already! Obviously, familiar ways of operating in the modern world aren’t working anymore. Security blankets need to be tossed. We all resist change because of the fear of the Unknown. The future seems dark and scary, like Death. A little bit of austerity can be a good thing. Whether you are forced to do without for awhile or consciously choose to do so, stripping your life down to the basics can be liberating. What’s left are your true “riches.”
Revel in your limitations! Simplicity, focus and singleness of purpose are just a few of the gems that can only be revealed when all of the easy trappings of modern life are no longer quite as accessible. Your body, nature, and a desire to be of service are some of the assets that could have been overlooked before when things were happening too fast. Time slows down when you don’t have a job, or can’t busy yourself trading stocks or shopping for recreation. It’s all in your perspective — this predicament could be seen as the ultimate deprivation or finally being able to determine what you personally value rather than just passively accepting whatever is offered in the shop window.
Savor Your Place in the Universe
Can’t this just be over like a bad dream so we can go back to our comfortable lives and habits from before? The door to the past is closed forever and the door to the future cannot be pryed or forced open before we’ve readied ourselves. This is a time to be still, an opportunity to review the past and learn from it. The success of our future, both collectively and personally depends upon how patient and humble we can be at this pivotal point in the history of the World.
We can make an evolutionary leap and jump out of the collective mind-fuck of the “Survival-of-the-Fittest” mentality that has seemingly made the world turn for so long. This is an aberration of the Age of Pisces (now ending) where only two roles existed — either you were a slave/sheep “spiritually” following the pack or a master/Devil “executively” calling the shots. This has left us and the earth exhausted and ready for a new way, a new age, a new perspective to take hold.
We All Rule in the New Age
A new “Golden Age” can result if you can make time to get acquainted with your own dirt — your shadow. Enormous potential lies in the darkness, in the Earth. We can re-build ourselves and re-shape society if we stop giving our power away to corporations and presidents. Become your own King or Queen. Honor your divine origin by freeing yourself from the fleeting possessions of the material world to define your worth. The resources of the world can be shared so all can reign with dignity.
